Fractional Distillation Column

Since the beginning of PCI’s distillation program, PCI has distilled almost 2 million gallons of solvents/hydrocarbons.  Because we have 3 unique distillation units, we can meet all of our customer’s service requirements.

The PCI Fractional Distillation Column is rated at 250 gallons per hour capacity. This unit recovers solvents with a low solid content (<5%) and operates 24/7. This unit has been operating at PCI since mid 2004 and reclaims about 100,000 gallons of solvent per month.

PRI vacuum-assisted, oil heated, Pot Still

PCI’s second distillation option is a PRI vacuum-assisted, oil heated, Pot Still, rated at 450 gallons per batch capacity. This unit has a wiper blade and can handle high solid (< 20%) viscous feedstock. This unit can reclaim approximately 40,000 gallons of solvent per month.

Thin Film Evaporator

Our newest distillation technology is the vacuum-assisted Thin Film Evaporator, rated at 250 gallons per hour capacity. This evaporator has a wiper blade and can process high solid (< 20%) viscous feedstock.
